Ace Shane is the son of former American softball player Jennie Finch and his husband, Casey Daigle. He was born on May 4, 2006, and he has two younger siblings, Diesel Dean, and Paisley Faye, born in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Ace would often show up at her mother’s games and cheer for her when he was young.

Education

Ace Shane is currently in high school, but his parents have not bothered to mention the school he attends. After high school, Ace will join college and pursue a career he loves. He might not be gifted as his mother, but he is finding his place somewhere else, probably in football or baseball like his father.

His Parents’ Romantic Life

Ace Shane’s parents met in 2002; Daigle was in Arizona training with his baseball team while Jennie was playing for her university’s softball team. They talked and liked each other; afterward, they started dating. Ace’s parents dated for three years before Daigle proposed. He popped up the question while at the University of Arizona.

Jennie mentioned that her husband, then her boyfriend, blindfolded her and took her to the softball field, where he asked her to marry him. The couple has been together for 18 years, and their love for each other keeps growing.

Her Mother

Ace Shane’s mother loved sporting activities and played three games in high school: basketball, football, and softball. However, she decided to focus on softball after joining the University of Arizona. Jennie Finch played softball throughout college and made it to several teams of the year. She also received some awards.

Ace Shane’s mother, college jersey number 27, retired after she completed her studies. Jennie helped the American softball team win several games in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, during which her son Ace came to cheer her. Ace was 15 months old at the time, but his presence made his mother perform even better.

Ace’s mother currently takes care of her family while doing her other business. However, she attends softball events when she is invited.

Why Did Ace’s Mother Retire From Softball

Ace Shane’s mother retired from softball in July 2010 at age 30. She cited her reasons for departure from the game was because she had less time with her family. She felt like her son Ace was growing fast, and she did not get to spend his childhood with him. Jennie also said that she had achieved a lot of success, and her career was more than she thought, and it was time for her to pass the mantle to someone.

Besides, after retiring from softball, she expanded her family, giving birth to her second child a year later and the lastborn three years later.

Ace Shane is not active on social media since he is currently focusing on his studies. But after high school, he might want a social media experience just like other teenagers and adults. On the other hand, his parents are active on social media and have a considerable following, particularly on Instagram.
